EDIT: That'll have the dash style previous to the later type, as the windows still have quarter light sections.

Is a 1983 model the last of the mk.1s, or the first of the mk.2s? I saw a really battered mk.2 345 in blue today, but I haven't seen any other 345s, let alone mk.1s recently (beside that one on fleabay in Cornwall, which I would've bought if it weren't so far away). I'm starting to wonder how hard it's going to be to get parts if headlight glass, etc go because there aren't many mk.1s around anymore

1982 is the first of the Mk2s I think, our old 345s were both Mk2s and both 1982 anyway, some point in 1983 they changed the dashboard/door mirrors and removed the quarterlight section on the front windows.

I can get you a headlight glass...not cheap though

In here Finland we have this Motonet that sells car parts.

I found this:
76--81 H4 Glass 20.86 euros
76--81 H4 Headlamp 111.68 euros

So this is MK1, right? I think that glass is not very expensive.

That's a lot cheaper than I can get them if you just want the glass. A friend was selling the whole unit (second hand) at around £25 a pop plus shipping (from memory). Maybe worth trying a few parts places here?
