Fotos of my 343
Hello everyone.
I am from Poland and I am new on this forum.
I was reading some posts and I really like your cars. Especially the one of pistonpen paultje he show on fotos on this topic:
http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... hp?p=83404
I decided to write some about my Volvo.
Since 2007 october I am the owner os Volvo 343DL from 1980. I get it from my friend in Holland.
I am very enthisuastic now about the Volvo and especially 300's.
My car was partly stained and hit when I get it so I gave him new paint.
If you like to see the pictures of "before and after" you will find them here: http://atroszko.pl/volvo/
I am very surprised of quality of this car, no serious technicial problems.
I made some quite serious trips with this car:
- it was my wedding car
- trip to Holland
- trip to Romania, Bulgaria and Greece (wedding trip)
- trip to south Poland mountines
This year I am planning another far trip.
I am going never to sell this car, and when I will buy another I will keep this one.
I know I like to watch the photos of your cars so here I will try to post also some photos of my 343. I hope you enjoy them.
If you like more you find them at: http://volvo.atroszko.pl (there is English version too)

Re: Fotos of my 343
Welcome to the forum dude!
And what a beautiful car.
Looks to be in superb condition, and I bet it turns a few head with that cool paintjob.
Really liking the colour!
Im second generation Polak, but cant do anything apart from a bit of swearing that my Grandmother taught me!
The 'im never going to sell this car' attitude youve got with your 300 seem to affect quite a few people on the forum.
Once youve lived with a 300, i suppose its hard to go to anything else!

Re: Fotos of my 343
Welcome, you work with car is perfect
But what else would anyone except from Poland, which has long tradition in fine craftsmanship as well in many other eastern Europe countries. My jaw still always drops to floor when I see such nice work as this
I see you also are photographer? You are most welcome to take part of our friendly photo competition any time if you wish

Wish I could take such photos one day, but it might be that my eyes are not up to task
Re: Fotos of my 343
Thank you all for nice words.
I must explain I did not painted it by own hands, especially because this stained cover required to some more serious work, and i am not that talented. I gave it to paint for kind of professionalist from neighbour village.
And pistonpen paultje if you like to see this is the Dutchman: http://albums.atroszko.pl/holandia2008/fot014a.html
he is from Rilland and he was first owner of that car.
jtbo - thanks, surely i will take part of fotocompetitions. What is topic of lastest? "Close"? i will think about it.
I am hobby photographer.
Here two more photos that I like.
If I will make more I let myself to show you.

Yes, Close is latest subject of competition. Here are few other hobby photographers too, I'm rather beginner, but it is one of my hobbies.
Also we have thread named Photos in here, which some of us post more or less random photos at random times

Very nice car. You have put a lot of good work in to bring the car to that good an standard. I do not see a LPG filler point - must be the first car from poland without one!

And it will stay like this!
It's Manual.Bjorn Belter wrote:Out of interest, is it Vario or manual?
What I also like especially is original radio that I have not seen in another 300. Maybe someone of you have one? I have seen some inner photos and there are always "modern" radios. Later I will post the photo.
