Well, thats it, my 340 has finally died;
Failed MOT, the bottoms all rotten, needs £450 worth of welding.
Anyway, if anyone wants it for spares, they can have it for free, just needs collecting; tax runs out 31st of march, and cos mot is gone, i guess youre only allowed to drive it to a garage, so im not sure if would have to be trailered away or not. (i think you woud need to give the address of the garage you were taking it too if you got stopped).
Its the medium blue colour, but most of the panels have got rust or dents in them, so theyre not much good.
Anyway, I'd rather any parts worth saving went to some use, rather than it just getting lost at teh bottom of the local scrap yard, so give me ashout if youre interested,

aye, i do alright, but i need a car fairly sharpish, and all teh ones ive seen are miles away; i knew i should of bought one a few months ago, and overlapped them. just need a bit of luck!

i'm picking her up today from gareth i'll post pics of her condition later this week and start the strip down asap and see how bad she is

chap will you be getting rid of parts or keeping them all to yourself?

both i only want to keep the mill and running gear and a few bits from the interior i.e dash lighting and clocks and maybe the external lighting for spares but most parts will be available if peeps want them and can pay a contrubution towards cost of post etc

yer gareth we got back no problem my mate was in love on the way back we had some fun down the lanes he was struggling to keep up havin only driven trucks and tractors for the last 12 months but yer i think he's hooked he was wanting to put her back on the road and use it himself but i took the keys and locked her in the garage as soon as we got back lol

i'll post some picks up of the car for the rest of you guys this week just need to get time and some batterys for the camera
the car is a mk3 with the full glass boot and bigger bumpers i've not started to strip her yet but need to soon as i need to get started as the garage is needed for the mrs's car when the parts arrive and she won't let me stick the volvo in the garden yet till i flag it
