weber inlet manifolds

howdy doody all

im hopeing that some of you can help me with this lil problem :(

as some of you know i have purchased a set of weber DCOE 40's off steve :wink:

but im having problems getting hold of an inlet manifold as i have a 340 1.7GL where as if i had a 360 it would be (in the words of the meerkat on that advert) simples lol

i have sent classicswede a pm for help

but im wondering if anybody is able to give me any help on the situation?

None available off the shelf as far as I know. You may have to go custom, sorry to bring bad news.

Was meant to PM you again Lee as I thought of Bogg Brothers up't north I think...

I've heard their name mentioned a few times when it comes to building custom manifolds for IRTB's and bike carbs for use on carbs. I reckon they'd be able to make something up for you! They're supposed to be very reasonable too!

They are quite good, my mate had a mani made up for a corsa sport that and the bikes carbs cost around £250 think they even sort of tuned them up. corsa driver = fail he blew the engine on the way home.....there is only one word and james may sum's it up quite well ;)

Yeah if you're used to a rev limiter it can be hard to watch the tacho. Sure I hit over 8k rpm on the way to the test centre today. :oops:

yea a few people have mentioned them so am gunna give them a buzz but am hopeing that there are more suggestions out there that people can think of :?

bogg brothers are the men for the job round our way everyone use's them for manifold's they seem to be the kings of n/a tuning to
