Looks like a well speced car. Does need some work to sort out the dents and rust.
I wounder why they mounted the OMVL LPG regulator so far away from the carb. It should run ok like that but if you find it has lag when you put your foot down then moving it closer will solve that problem. What size is the tank 60 ltr? It looks quite small I managed to fit an 80 ltr with some space to spare and then changed to a 90 ltr by trimming back the plasic side mouldings.

This is my old car, and I had the GAS tank installed over here at gebr. Orsouw. They are considered as being the best LPG builders for old volvo's. As its a LHD, its not that easy to mount it there. It drives really great with the B19A. 30 miles in 5th gear, and it still pulls away great!

It drives great. No problem with lag or something (being slow as it is). It's fitted with a 80L tank, but runs 1 liter per 6 km right now. I think its running to rich right now.
Some crappy pictures of the weldings and rear axle.
Completely demontage by hand...
Rotten chassis
And the "new" assembly needed a bit work too.
Already welded on the car. All primered, kitted and coated with bituum (not in picture yet)
Drilled new watering holes, got the inside waxed.
That was the moment I came to the rear axle... No bearings available anymore (volvo 360 pre 85) . Got the last old stock from the dealer.
But, unfortunately, the old bearing had damaged the axle to much:
So i got a complete different rear axle (from the rally car).. But two shaft bolts broke... Damned.
Well, I'll try to drill out the holes and repair it with helicoils.. But its old rusted crap. We will see, maybe I take a new type axle, if the old style big 360 brakes fit.
Mister Ovlov 3.6L big thanks for the help

Most cars are ok with the long length of pipe but I do always try and keep them as short as possible to avoid any problems.
with the 360 you should get aprox 25 MPG that is a fair bit better than what it is doing now.
Set up procedure for mixture is to hold revs at aprox 3000 rpm
screw in inline adjuster in untill you hear revs drop off (inline adjuster is between omvl reg and carb) hold throttle position steady at all times.
open screw untill max revs are reach then screw back in 1/4 turn
Adjust idle on omv reg the gigger brass nut with spring on it. Screw in to lean out to richen. If you have to move it a lot then you will need to do the 3000 rpm again

Its back on its wheels again. I took some parts from a spare rear axle and builded up the axle from the GLS, new bearing etc. Also changed the startermotor, because it was dead. It seems like the battery is also bad, but I'm giving it a try with the new starter.
And the fixed suspension
Friday again for MOT, then I can finally drive it again.

Real km's (not miles lol) The next picture I want to make, is when its over 600.000km

Volvosneverdie lol
the screen just suddenly cracked, not hit by anything.. Probably this screen will still stay for a long time, because it is no MOT failure. I'd better spend my money on the drift 360 and this car for rustprevent.
Yes, for a daily, its a real nice car.
