got these 2 to rob for any remaining bits after my 16v conversion- the 1.7 has all usual bits to convert a 16v robbed off, plus the inlet manifold is gone, as is the starter- i have the alt still though, still has the dizzy/leads/carb+cable too.

the 1.4 is totally complete except for starter motor(its on in the pic, but i need it), still has the bellhousing on, good clutch/clutch cable/carb/alt/fuel pump/dizzy/etc.







i also have fair condition complete exhausts from manifold to tailpipe for both motors- slight surface rust but totally solid.

can post any bits, and itll all be cheap. let me know if you want anything asap as im running out of space so these 2 lumps will be scrapped pretty soon.

yes, i can do either style of alternator- single V-belt of multi-V

brilliant. i'll PM you early next week as im off to london for the weekend with the missus.

fuel pump, a washer for the carb mounting bolts and a throttle cable clip (the one for adjusting tension) if you can manage them too. i'll check on the alt. belt type when i can.

ahh, ive heard of this fabled T-piece. unfortunately this engine doesn't appear to have it, it has one pipe direct from the filter box to the rocker cover. dunno if its different cos its from a series 2 or something?

so in short no i cant help on that bit!

how much for 1.7 carb and cylinder head with valves and cam and bits and flywheel?
