hey has anyone every looked into this as my megane head has a hole for dizzy cap.... its just sealed by a plate that is removeable....??? anyone else or just me?

Sounds a bit like the 360s-940s, 940s have a cam mounted disty, but no space in the 360 (thank god, I hate cam mounted distys, especially the 1.7 one) so its just sealed with a push fit plug. Any chance of adapting the distributorless ignition?

Its not that easy, it is possible, but the throttle body needs to be changed also as its different.
The head needs to be machined to fit the dizzy tho, it wont just bolt in.

That's what Im saying though mine has either been done before or it was done factory. The size and bolt alignment seems to be correct and look the same as the f7p head? Ihavent actually Put one on it but it seems to match. . . i'll try and take a picture this weekend.

Take a picture if you can, every one i have seen is only machined on the bottom half.

Could it be a valver head on it but been capped so as to run the megane ignition system...??

as far as i know it came from a megane and hadnt been played with it had all megane type parts on it and megane thermostat housing as i think the 2 are different shaped
