Mornin' all,

As part of my "finding things" for my "new friend" I found myself in need of valve stem seals - needless to say NLA from Volvo. Looking for head sets I repeatedly found "sold me last one months ago" but I have come across the following:-

www.karengine.co.uk contact Grahame on 01271 345614 or sales@karengine .co.uk who stock all sorts of goodies supplied through their sister co. www.ultrapartsltd,co.uk phone 01271 379094 e-mail sales @ultrapartsltd.co.uk (Graeme is again the guy - he can be reached on either no./e-mail.

They have a good stock of 300 parts at "clearance" prices. eg:- (all B14 parts)

part no. UDH694, head set, x1 £10.00 additional sets £7.50 each.
part no. UJB851, manifold gasket, £2.00
part no. UHR301, valve stem seals, £0.35 each.
part no. TK25, timing chain set inc. tensioner/gasket/front oil seal, £12.50.

I have (of course) purchased a small stock and they seem to be of perfectly good quality - I shall use a head set soon and will report.

Grahame has promised to e-mail me with a full list and prices of 300 stock (when he gets a chance) and I will post here when I get it.

If interested in anything contact Grahame Rowley at the contact details ealier in this thread.
He mentions that the "genuine" and "pattern" prices may be subject to negotiation. The "ultraparts" stock is already discounted.

evening,

the ultraparts stuff wasn't the best of quality when i tried them sometime ago. the stem seals in particular weren't up to it. BGA kit much better - try lewisham auto electrical in kent or check BGAs distros on their website. they had quite a lot of 340 stuff.
