Ben, if youve got the wedge, break it and become a millioraire.

Yeah, there IS that danger.
Like buying a puppy, just to have it put down.
Thatd be hard man.

i couldnt really have put it better my self.
with the landy, a 360, a mondeo, c3, and various piles of sh1t, space is tight, but i recon i could find some room! given that we had space for (one top of the list above) another landy, and a polo at one point

Cheers to Ben for putting me on to this! Was thinking about getting the whole thing but as he says it's a bit gone. Plus I'd feel bad about breaking a mk1 lol.
Messaged him asking for the rear lights. I need a few other bits too, does anyone know if the bump strips and ash tray from the centre console are the same as a mk2?
I also need the gutter strip trims but I bet he can't get the off lol. May ask him to take a grinder to the shell and cut off the full gutter.
Trying to think what else I need that I had pretty much given up on ever acquiring
Thanks to the OP for posting this up here. I'm sure it's of use to a lot of us. Here's hoping he doesn't sell complete lol.

That looks a bit of a heap, which is a shame cos the overall look of the thing is awesome! Ash tray will be different to a Mk2 with the later dash though

Hi all mk1 people.
It would also be worth getting the instramint cluster and speedo cable if only for a spare.
Cheers Mark.

The seller messaged me back and said that someone is coming to view with the intent of buying complete.
Anyone one from here?

No, but I'm tempted now. I have an identical car...the absolute twin. Same year, same colour, same spec.
Anyone want parts? York isn't that far for me, either...
cheers

Oh yes. Heater stuff, like the control valve, rear seat belts?
Cheers

My 1980 car needs a few interior bits too. I hope it's as bad as he says. The last thing I need is *another* car to stay...!
cheers
