injection?

hi for ease of use i was thinking to put a renault injection head on my 1.4 rather than carbs does anybody know which head i could use?

I think some of the late Renault 5's were injected, might be worth looking there first?

Renault 11 has 1.4 injection engines too.But what you win after istalling injection?fuel economy?

Yeah if someone finds any easy way to get injection (even single point) into a B14, I'm in :D

We've touched on the subject before on V3C and I think your best bet would be the Renault Le Car, the American export version of the original Renault 5, or either the Renault Alliance/Encore (the American-built R9 and R11). Those engine blocks are true Cleon engines whereas those late R5's and R19's have updated ones with a slightly smaller displacement, so I'm not sure that would be a straight swap. I'd have it just to get rid of the carburettor and choke but frankly, those injection systems are so crude I don't think it yields any more powahz (an Alliance 1.4 does 64 bhp)
