Thanks mate!
But can you please find it for me? Cant seem to find it in the forum...
What i ment for the Volvo, is that can I take the parts from the volvo 440/60/80 turbo engine and mount it on the 1.7 l?
Without change the whole engine? Just swith the cylinder head, exhaust manifold etc from the other engine over to mine?
That is what Im wondering about, I dont want to change the whole engine....
Thanks!

The parts will physically fit but the CR will be wrong.

Im with Adam on this one.Just swap a whole complete B18FT (400 turbo) engine or swap in a 16v renault engine like Adam has done

Turbo's are serous pieces of engineering and require quite different engines to normally aspirated ones. They also need to take a lot more power, so small modifications can appear anywhere for strength, oil flow, oil supply to turbo, water supply to turbo, heat management, stronger mechanicals, different head and pistons etc etc.
Almost noone ever puts a turbo on a normally aspirated engine with just a head swap.

As above, you wouldn't want to.
The internals in a B18FT are forged, the combustion chamber is in a completely different place (one in head, the other in heron head pistons)
Plus... swapping the bits is about a million times more work unless the bit of work you are trying to avoid is the wiring?

I've got a 340 1.7 and a 440 1.7 turbo. Wish I had the time and know-how to put them together and have the best of both worlds!
That red one that's been done and tuned makes 190hp

The standard 440 turbo is 120hp which would still be fun. I used to love driving the 440 but always wished was a 340 with RWD and 1.7 turbo!
