its a 1.4 so i dont get raped on insurance.
plans, well i dont know really. the obvious get rid of those wheels maybe get minilites in 13" with some good dish and give it a better stance. clear up the rot in the rear arches. and a better sound system as the one in there is dead, and i like my music

ahh it was a 1500, in red. needed an engine rebuild and due to lack of space i had to let an old chap have it for 150 quid. he was over the moon because the guy before me put in new sills and floors. he said his was completely rotten. managed to make a profit on it though as i broke it for parts. kinda have a hankering for another now though. so i can slam it and upset a few beards in the mg scene

Well it's a red one... keep it clean and it won't be pink in six months

yes that is a must, dont want it to turn out like a pink polo that runs around here somewhere

That's the only problem with red, it's obviously been looked after previously to still be red now!
Definately get the old boy lowered and some nice 13/14/15" wheels will go down a treat

really doesn't need alot at all that

To be honest the later reds always seem to fair better than the earlier Mk3's... I think it's a different red too but we're splitting hairs now

Welcome to the forum! Love the colour, the 3-dr-ness, the lack of chrome around the windows and guttering. How about some 14" alloys from a GLT? They'd suit it well IMO ...
It was probably polished up for the sale, so you'll be OK for non-pinkness for a few more years

I've had a red 300 parked in the street for 10 years now, have only polished it twice and it's still red ...
Cheers
Tom

thank you for all the nice comments guys, she is a 91 not sure late or not.. ill have a better look at the logbook and stuff later. she has few dings here and there unfortunately, and the rear arches have seen better days especially in the bit between the door and the wheel. that will probably need looking after as its very crusty

thankfully the inside is very nice. and i was really impressed with the way the seats fold forward

can some one link me to a site that sells lowered springs for the front perhaps? and also where i can get extended U bolts to fit spacers
thanks

Repair panels for the wheel arches are available from NOR / KLOKKERHOLM, Hadrian car panels (
http://www.carpanels.co.uk) sell them. It does take a bit of work to make it look nice though ...
For replacement springs try PMing classicswede on this site, or you could try sourcing some front suspension legs from a 360 GLT.
Cheers
Tom
EDIT: '91 is
very late, that was the last year of production

i meant how late of a 91 it is.. are there any differences between an early 91 and a late one?
