No way is that a V12, let alone a Jag one.
1, count the intake runners - 6 or maybe 8, not 12
2, it is as short as a 1.4 no way can that be 7cyls (in effect) long.

My guess is a Ford V6/8

i dunno - some of them are hidden by the edge of the bonnet - could be more undeneath

If you look, they've cut the firewall, and i would guess quite a few cylinders are hidden behind the firewall. Must make changing a plug a pain in the arse.

with the engine going that far into the cockpit , he must be driving from the back seat (a bit like the wife in that respect )

It is a v12 5.3L 299hk from a Jaguar XJS.

I have seen a movie clip with this 340. AND IT IS FAST.

i imagine taht getting 400 bhp from a big purry cat engine is a lot more plesent than getting it from a redblock :)
