my '88 360 needs a new tie rod. It has play in it due to a previous owner breaking the old tie-rod in a crash and replacing it with a non-volvo one which he cut to size with an angle-grinder! Its a power-steering rack and apparently new tie rods for the p/s racks are unobtainable new. I guess if anyone has a spare rack, I might consider getting that for the rod alone, the rack wouldn't have to work or anything....
