Malvern Classic Car Show 18/04/2010

Post by Ian Mac »

The local car club I belong to had a stand at Malvern today so I took the 340 as I'm not taxing the Zastava until the 1st of May. We won best club display which was pretty good going as only seven of us managed to turn-up..... :D

I took some pics of the cars on our stand - hope you like them.

I had a run-in with some local smack-heads who threw some sort of acid over the car so what you see is the result of an entire weekend spent with G3 and Maguires. I'm quite pleased as I thought it might need a respray..... :(

The Triumph isn't a 2000 it's a 1300 front wheel drive which later gave way to the Toledo then the Dolomite.

Dude, thats a bit sh!tty.
What kind of degenerate messes with 300 paint?
Love the Triumph and you did a great job on the paint man (if the damaged area is visable in that pic).
I hope you metered out some Charles Bronson style street justice.

Cheers both. The damage is only apparent if you know where to look so I'm fairly happy.

We have a disused railway alongside the house which the local dealers have been using to distribute their wares. In my usual quiet and inoffensive manner I pointed-out that they weren't particularly welcome and it might be a good idea to move somewhere else. They took the hint but left a parting gift all over the 340. My wife (who incidentally works for the police) has a strange notion that I should start to wind my neck in before I either get stabbed or the house gets firebombed. I've given it some thought but the maverick approach does seem to work so I reckon it's business as usual. I've tried dressing in her uniform but it's a bit tight so it looks like carrying-on with the Charles Bronson tactics.... 8)
