My gearbox is leaking from the front cover plate. I am looking for replacement gaskets for the front cover plate, gearbox/diff joint and diff cover plate to get the job done properly. I see that mac is remaking the diff cover gasket already but I'm not sure if anybody has or is able to make the other gaskets?

Is the front cover plate gasket thickness important for the bearing tolerances like the other gaskets or can I make my own/reseal it without a gasket?

I made my own from a sheet of gasket paper. I just asked the guy in the shop what sort to use. Might not hold forever but will last long enough to source some proper ones. means doing the job twice mind
