Why all these spammers all of a sudden?

Why is that bloke trying to sell handbags here? Does he think we are all shirt lifters.

I'm guessing that the spam protection me and Aymat added to the old forum wasn't transferred to the new one, so we only have standard antispamness.

As the standard one is really common, I'm guessing in the last few days someone has sussed how to get round it. The board most likely has a software update to be applied, but only Aymat can do that.

I've a feeling though that the last few days spammers havn't been bots. I deleted a load of messages from handbag man this morning, and then more appeared. Has anyone spoken to Aymat recently?
