A VERY BUSY DAY

Post by littlered »

well today was a busy one, went to RSR in redhill surrey, met with mark who himself ownes a mk1 cortina and a 66 beetle,so likes his older cars.
told him we loved the look and sound of the buddy club exhausts, and in an ideal world would like it to be similar. He set to work after looking at his computer dimensions of the buddy club.
a measure here,a bend there, and before i knew it we were looking at exactly what we wanted!ramps dropped i fired it up.HOLY CRAPOLA!its awesome, sounds just like the integra type R we heard on the tunnel run.
it pops and bangs on the over run too!
here a few pics(straightening out the bends of the original has worked a treat)
this is what we had

just watch that exhaust. as it runs under the axle instead of over it.

Apart from that looks well produced. video?

Really coming along, the wheels suit it nicely - now you need a rear spoiler ;)

it,ll cost you around £150 but i work hard and save hard to buy the best stuff i can for my car,and if you look at my posts you,ll see ive added some really nice stuff because after getting a 20 year old 20,000 miler in concours nick i think it deserves it,my dad gets lots of deals from his friends lkie i got a set of willans harnesses from a track skyline in japan which are in my car(there the same ones as in jenson buttons formula one car) and i love the adoration it gets every where i go!
this exhaust plays a tune like youve never heard before i swear!
my dads friend has a lotus cortina and he said it sounds much better than his lol!

It IS a really nice motor Carlyle.
Good that youre spending all your golds on it too man. Very impressive modding so far.

Do we fancy making the Ace a national V3M meet?
Its the Norse isnt it?
I fancy a rock down.

Anyone got any contacts thatd help?
