Hi all,
I need a new front drivers seat belt in my 360 GLE. I was just wondering if the belts are the same in a 240 with the car being a similar age? Its just because my local scrappy has some 240's in so I could go down at the weekend.
Cheers!

Re: front seat belts
for info 240 belts are totaly different and would not fit without major modification

Re: front seat belts
Hi Guys,
I don't think I need a new seatbelt, but there certainly seems to be a problem with my driver's belt on my 360 GLT. Essentially it snags at all but the lowest speeds, making plugging the belt in or even leaning forwards to adjust the stereo a real chore. My workshop manual just says "remove sufficient trim that you can access the mechanism" but that's just it - it's not obvious how! Everything seems to be glued into place.
It's dumb, as I'm sure it's just the centrifugal braking mechanism sticking, and a squirt of WD-40 would have it right as rain, but I can't get to it!
Any advice?
Nick

Re: front seat belts
From memory without having a car to look at you need to
1) undo the metal strips on top of the sill a few screws in each.
2) pull the rubber door seal off from the lip that goes over the B pillar trim
3) undo the top seat belt mount (flip the cover off to reveal teh bolt.
4)there is a srew that goes through the bottom of teh B pillar trim
the trim should then come off.
