Hello, All:
Keith from Detroit, Michigan with the 1978 Volvo 343 here.
The directional signals ands emergency flashers in my car have never worked. It appears that a well-intended prtevious owner or mechanic (?) tried to patch in a flasher unit by running jump wires into the fuse box.
Does anyone have the manufacturer and part number for the correct flasher unit for my application? Is the flasher unit shared with any other vehicle applications, Volvo or otherwise?
Thanks,
Keith

Re: Flasher unit
Hi Keith, should be a standard-ish part. Two wires go to two units: 1 for the direction indicators, 1 for the hazard warning lights. The two units should be located within the fuse box. (Well that's what the BOL is telling me

Re: Flasher unit
The previous owner had just patched wires into the fuse boc where the flasher unit(s) are meant to go.
So there were actually two flasher units? One for directionals, and one for 4-way emergency flashers?
Can anyone help me isolate the manufacturer and part number?
Thanks
