not mine!!!!
someone is selling this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152351099055? ... Tags=bu=bu
I wanted the the body kit from it, but he will only sell the car complete, sadly i dont think it is worth saving (i could be wrong) does anyone want to buy this (not for £600 that silly) and ill buy the body kit
I was tempted to ask how much for the kit too but I would still need a rear valence as it is longer for the saloon. It is completely rotten so I don't know why he thinks it has a few rust bubbles here and there and you can guarantee the kit is hiding some big holes.
The car is throwaway. But the body kit is very rare. The problem is as I found on my old saloon that they were fitted by dealerships and the quality of fitment left a lot to be desired, the side skirts create further rust traps so I'm not sure I'd ever want to fit a kit to an otherwise clean car. The look is good though! I bought my (admittedly rusty) GLT saloon with bodykit for ~£200 in 2005ish
Yes, they are - from memory the front valance uses the wing /mudflap bolts and so does the rear with an additional mounting hole drilled in the middle across the rear of the car, but the sideskirts require holes drilling in the 'top' of the sill and the bottom of the rear arch.
I have been looking for a "mint" kit for a long time to duplicate.
I agree that he is asking a very steep price for the kit (and the pile of rust that comes with it ).
Life is a journey, so sit back and enjoy the ride!

Well, he's being very honest about the condition of the car! The original bodykit is so rare, that I'm sure the lot will sell eventually. But probably not for 600 pounds
Yes, that's very true - I'm sure it'll sell too... I might be interested if the seller sounded more flexible. But the logistics and cost of moving a non-runner make it even more expensive...!
Bizarre car for someone to spec a kit though - it looks as if it's always been on the car but fitted to a base spec DL!?
