I've already answered that. :-P I'd look at 4x50w amps, but do bear in mind that some of the more budget orientated brands do like to....er....lie with the power ratings!

Pretty much anything that isn't obviously toss will be a nice upgrade, but I mentioned the V12 as a particular bargain - they appear from time to time very cheap for what they are! To be honest, anything from the mainstream brands like Pioneer and Kenwood will do just fine. Anything nicer than that will be a bonus.

cheers

What he said! You will notice a diffence, only thing I'd say is think about ditching the shelf altogether, the staging issues with two sets running the same channel from different places is going to give headaches in more than one sense. If you want niceness, 6.5's up front, 4's in the back doors (back door speakers was my long term plan... which has paused for a bit) and be cheeky and pike foggy's bass box. It sounds tight, and you don't loose any boot. If you don't want that, there are ways of knocking up a smaller bass box out of a pair of 6" or smaller bass drivers, for under a front seat. It's easy enough, and would sound better, and if you put the leg work in finding bits, wouldn't cost much more.
