trip computer in a 200

Hello all, small question but will a trip computer go into a 240? I just want to know if it would and if it is worth tracking one down?

I know how rare they are but I'm still going to keep looking

Some people have suggested that the 300 series one was available as a kit for a 200, but that's not what the information from Volvo I have suggests.
