Exhaust parts

Post by foggyjames »

I may well be aquiring a job lot of 300 series exhaust sections (new and used), which I'll be looking to sell on....for not very much!

Any interest? I'm not looking for buyers....just let me know if you *might* be interested in buying exhaust sections on the cheap (like 1/2 > 1/4 of normal price).

cheers

I need the centre section for my 360, so would definately be interested. Was actually been phoning Euro Car Parts and German & Swedish yesterday, but neither have them in stock and wont for the forseeable future, so have been contemplating what do.

Any idea when you'll be getting them?

Should be in a week or two at the most....if I get them. I think there are a couple of complete 360 systems (in pieces), so should be sortable. Would you want new / used (used cheaper!)?

cheers

Depends on the price difference and condition :)
Probably new though, maybe even the complete set.

BUMPITY BUMP!

I'm definitely getting them.

For a 360....
There are two centre sections (of differing design). I seem to recall both are new, one is genuine Volvo, one not.

There are at least four backboxes - some Genuine Volvo, some not. Some pretty new (less than 1 year), some less new.

I'm awaiting a full inventory, but please let me know if you'll be interested in *any* sections. One is a BRAND NEW downpipe for what I've been told is a 360 with PAS exhaust...but it looks more like a 340 part to me.

Prices start at £10 for the older used bits. Nothing will be over £30, which is still under half price for most sections.

cheers

WOO HOO

I would be loving a centre section for a 360. Having got underneath just now and bodged a new centre mount, it definately needs a new one. Apart from the silencer having a hole in, it is very dented, and slightly flat in places :(

I dont suppose you have a B19 back box in your haul?

B19 back box? Is that the through-flow one? I don't think so, sadly...

Come to the UK meet in November. A hell of a drive yes, but someone will be able to put you up, and you can take an exhaust (or three!) home!

cheers

How much would it be for a whole exhaust?

New or used? There are loads of backboxes, but fewer centre sections - I'm awaiting a complete list!

I can't see a complete system running to more than £60 or so - even new!

cheers

Hi James,

Do you still have any exhaust parts available? The 360 I should be getting next Sunday (woohoo) needs a middle section, and probably a backbox too - not seen how bad the backbox is yet though.

I haven't picked up any of it yet. There are a LOT of backboxes, and at least two centre sections, but the two I've seen are different in design....a quick check of VADIS ought to sort that out though!

cheers
