I haven't myself but Dave (Tasman) has and I gather the copy from a photo was fine. For £10 that's got to be almost nothing compared to the price of petrol!! I'm out that way (Bromley) on thursday so I could even pick it up for Erik but seems a bit mad as it's a postal service!!

Quite a few places over here can cut car keys by number, some requiring proof of ownership, some not, so there must be somewhere local where Erik can get this done, unless legal hurdles prevent it!

I enquired and the key's in the post bloke says:

"Yes we can cut this key for you. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I’ll do them for £7.50 each + postage. Let me know if this is ok and how many you need and I’ll get a Paypal invoice sent over for payment. Kind regards."

Sorry, i've been out and about enjoying the drive, thinning out my wallet . Kind of just accepted that my car had open doors.. but this is amazing news. Hello Erik, thank you very much indeed for that. Very much appreciated. I will post the key asap. I guess a courier would be the safest option, if that works for you. I'll look into that now, anyway.

PM's should work on this site, but I know there were some minor problems like not being notified if someone sends you a PM.

Do let me know if there are any problems with postage or with the key since the key firm says they will work out any problems.

Hey Bogbasic, i spoke to the guy you went to briefly by e-mail. I accidently ordered the key before seeing there was a 2nd page on this thread, lol. So i asked him to refund it as you already managed to get a hold of the key, and he said, what a coincidence.. but i told him it wasn't a coincidence as it was probably you that passed by . I come to London every now and then, but unfortunately not anytime soon. So posting would be much appreciated thanks man!
