Nah... It's good setup. Twin carbs are nice. It would be even better like that though. http://koti.mbnet.fi/teemuh/IMG_3379.JPG

i usually ignore the light, it starts coming when going up steep hills, then it turns off on the flat, eventually it is always on. But unlike the manual suggests i think there is more under it than 5 litres.

Once coming back frm the 'middle of no where' in straya, i the light came on and had been on for maybe 20 km, i came to a petrol station at the start of a town, but the price was rediculous!! I figured i could just drive to a less 'prime spot' servo and the price would be cheaper, anyway, i drove aorund the little town for a bit, but couldnt find one.

so i was forced to continue, that wasnt a great idea, the next town was 50 km away, i was so scared and babying it the whole way there..

but i made it, and saved like 10c a litre or somthing.

I think thats the lowest ive ever run it (ended up putting like 55litres in)

I have plenty of other simular stories, but as they arnt that exciting, and i havnt officially run out yet, ill save em :).

That's probably the cleanest 300-series I have ever seen though the owner is too modest about it... I wan't a paintjob like that too. :P There were more pics of the roof swap too but now there's only those two. Couldn't tell that roof swap has been done though. Very nice work.

He has a B19ET (same as B21ET but with 2 litre displacement because taxing reasons) bottom end in it, strong M-rods etc... :P

Why did he need a roof swap? And what did he do to that engine? Is that a replacement for the injection, megasquit perhaps?

The car had been crashed so that it had rolled on its roof. :P Pic above is taken after the roof swap. Originally the car had B200K and R-Sport turbo kit. Now it has strong B19ET bottom end, twin Dellortos and fully aluminium intercooler.

My car will stop when needle shows around 1/6, no fancy lights either. I guess that new sender unit would repair that, but those cost money and I'm also very lazy

On highway I need refill around 400-450km, on city maybe around 350km, however I don't have a clue how much it drinks now after I did install lambda and mixture is adjusting to 14.7:1 by MS, should be perhaps more km than before as it was running indeed very rich.

I better fill my little black can before I run out of fuel next time :P

Jani, take your sender out but leave it connected, then turn the ignition on and move the float so its in the lowest position. If the gauge reads correctly then simply bend the arm upwards so the resistor arm sweeps down a bit lower ;)
