I'm not entirly certain on the lowercase version of that font, but hey, we're getting to picky, I'll live
If you guys like the fronts, sure.
Using Mk2, hmm, I think that at least one, or possibly both for symitry should be Mk3 as they're most common, but other than that I'll back this design

Like I said before, I couldn't even tell by looking at the car unless I studied it that either were a MK2 300. Being a Mk2 hardly makes it unrecognisable as a 300 - its only a bumper and indicator change that is different on the image.
I say we use the MK2 images if they are better quality, it will mean that the printed outcome will be much better.

Yeah but Mk2's look cooler anyway...

That is why i haven't used a Mk3, as you can see the lines are all very poor and ill defined, especially if you compare it to this

Looking at that comparison alone, I think the Mk2 image should be used.

Me too. The quality of the Mk. 2 pic is way better. And we all know Mk. 2s are best anyway

Hello chaps,
Sorry that I've not been keeping up with the discussion. Rather busy with one thing and another. However, did have time to make use of Pete's diagrams to have a consistent saloon / front / hatch thing. Also reversed the relevant lettering.
No time to do any other stuff and don't have the OCR font.

I like it, but it looks plain without the text.
After looking at the Mk3 3 version mumble grumble you were right
I'll add my vote for Dekays latest which is proving popular.

My two pennies worth, nice ideas forming, looks like a lot of discussion has taken place! Dekay's last edit looks perfect, brings all the liked and agreed things together well, uncluttered, get the message across. Mk2/Mk3, not many people are going to be able to tell, at the end of the day it's a 300!

Unless we have any more comments, I think we've decided on Dekays
I've got a target car

It's a Red mk3 (not pink as far as I can remember) I saw it at uni a couple times at the beggining of the year but not again untill a week ago when I thought I saw it in a back carpark, but was being dragged onto lecture. I checked in that carpark again today and it was there
If I remember correctly from the beggining of the year it was a 4spd 1.4 with a busted headlight wiper. My mate spotted another in Asda yesterday, they're learning the ways

Oh no, I wasn't suggesting one without text. I just didn't have the time (or the font) to put the text in. Just wanted to propose the image with the matching saloon and hatchback rears.
However, no complaints at all about Dekay's. Very nice indeed! Definitely the one I'd choose. Go for it.
