Well done, Dai! Glad you got your fog lamp fixed, Mark ...
Cheers

Fully agreed and he's quite good at extracting cars from sellers who don't want to part with them even if you've paid.

Done zero 300 stuff in recent times. Mrs and children keep making other work for me to do.
PM your new address/landline number? and I'll update my address book.

Auto windscreen in Belfast could only find two replacement screens in the whole of UK and Ireland.
One with a tint and one clear.
I bought what I was told was the last new non-tinted screen in National Windscreens own warehouses a couple of years ago. I had already bought quite a few non-tints second hand trying to find a good one. I have 3 or 4 with various degrees of minor damage but quite usable and MoT passable. Also got a few second hand tinted ones as spares! Are we reaching the windscreen event horizon as far as new is concerned?

I am getting a lift to a scrappie with a 340 and a 360. Any requests? This phone is approaching its event horizon, but I will try to post some pics. To us townies, a humanly-reachable scrappie is heaven.

If either have fog lights, extra gauges (with external temp sensor) and I also need a speedo cable for my 86 360 as the white part that goes on to the cluster has a snapped clip so the needle bounces around.

Getting a bit useless and completely forgot to take pictures due to some unexpected chaos caused by oversleeping but finally got there and found that they have a blue metallic 360 with the gearbox and torque tube missing and quite a lot else taken from it. They also have an undamaged 1.4 auto in the same colour which is too good to part-out, although someone has taken the starter motor but they assured us that it ran OK before! Thus if anyone wants an automatic project that does not need a lot of bodywork done, it might be a good buy, but there's too much on my own plate at the moment

Its Hawkhurst Salvage in Heartenoak lane at Cranbrook in Kent. I am afraid that the speedo cable was missing from the 360.

If you get desperate for a speedo I might be able to help.

Are you going there again any time soon?
Was the 360 a carb car or fuel injected?

I am not sure to be honest because it was on top of two other cars but I think it is a carb version. I might go there again quite soon, actually.
