its funny how these things usually happen in Norway!

Probably radiation, all Scandinavian countries have weird competitions, I don't know which country has most of them, but we do have swamp football world champion games as well as woman carrying and mosquito squatting, we had also sauna competition, but it is no more as Russian competitor used forbidden substances and died while finn did survive without using any forbidden stuff, even he got into coma for short time.

It is something to do with long winter perhaps, that during summer we do crazy things.

Oh yes, next winter swimming world cup is held 2012 in here too, at 2008 it was held in UK, at London Wiki says, so winter time is not completely without crazy things either.
