Will an 86 rear widow fit an 83?

No, it wont. An 83 has a rear window held in with a 'seal' around the edge. An 86 has a rear window that protrudes to the edges of the hatch on both sides and is bonded in. You can swap the whole hatch though, there the same, however the windows are not. Hope this helps
