Well I'm thinking about my respray colour now that I'm nearly ready for it on the 360 Turbo/restoration. Looking for some opinions. It needs to be an original colour.

The original was Metallic Graphite Grey 304-6 which I liked at the time, maybe a bit bored of it now. I'm thinking maybe moving to something more rare but still grey/black/blue. A grey colour of some description or the ocean blue metallic.

Possible vering towards Anthacite Metallic 187, which I'd describe a metallic black/dark grey. I know the pure black was special order and I painted my 345 in black when I was young so I want something different.

The Ocean blue metallic was quite rare and I'm thinking about that.

For the shade, does any shade still meet the 'original colour' definition.

Any recommendations on paint technology? Should I get some samples made?

One vote for petrol blue (232-6) - because its not metallic, I can get a reasonable match with aerosols, so its perfect for my purposes. Its also quite a nice colour ;-?

I don't think I'd go for Ocean Blue mainly because it seems very common but how about the metallic grey? Quite rare but as seen on this 340 Blueline, not sure of the colour code unfortunately though!

There where alot of pale blue metallic, I don't think that is ocean blue metallic.

Actually I don't have all the available colours, only got an 86 brouchure and my original colour 304 isn't listed. The ones I have for 360 are;

019 black
187 Anthracite Metallic
199 White
219 Ocean Blue Metallic
217 Red
221 Dark Red Metallic
184 Silver Grey Metallic
302 Light Green Metallic

It may not be a good example. The 340 blueline above looks good, is that anthracite or graphite?
