1983 360gls ignition system

Hey guys.

I have had to put a new motor in my GLS. It has a head mount dizzy.

I'm trying to sort out the coil wiring as it's the last thing I need done.
Can someone tell me what colours are positive and negative on the coil please? And also will I need to keep the ballast on the side or can I get rid of it?

The plus of the coil goes to 12v (with ignition on), the - goes to the switching which ultimately grounds the coil. So just turn ignition on and look for 12v.

Don't know about the ballast.
