well..

today i got another bag oh bits from james.. temp gauge/sender, new clock and stereo surround. fitted them all, and swapped a couple of bulbs over, and now all is working great

problem with my boot light thou, the sleeve isnt being pushed down by the slider, so the light always stays on. any ideas how to resolve this? im trying to think of a way i can fit an extender on..

Very easy, just put an extra plastic cylinder like on the picture and it will be ok!

how do you get it on there thou? can you take the struts apart easily?

I believe you take the strut off, i.e. unscrew it at both ends, then once of, grip the stansion of the strut with pliers (put some rubber or cloth between the pliar grips and stansion so you don't scratch it), and unscrew the end at the end of the stansion just beyond the the switch mechanism for the boot light. You might again needs to use pliars for this!
