On a wing and a prayer
Any tips on getting the middle door pillar wing bolt out. I've taken the check strap off and still no luck....It wont be going back in
Neil.(i'm not old,Im only 48)
If I remember it's a 10mm bolt (that or 13, but I think it's a 10!)
I do recall it is a pain to undo and I believe I used a 1/4" drive socket on the end of an extension bar and inserted it in the gap between the wing and the door whilst holding the door open. Some jiggling of the socket and the door is required, but it eventually will go over the bolt.

10mm socket on 3/8 brive wobble bar is the best bet. Wobble bar extensions allow the socket to offset a little and make this one a doddle to do.
