I wanted to see how far the seat would recline and noticed the lumbar support knob hits the rear ashtray, so I unscrewed the knob all the way and took it out.
Now I can't get it to go back in, the female part inside the seat seems to have moved.
Any solution to this?

lumbar support knob

Somthignlike this happened to mine, turns out the plastic bit inside which it screws into had snapped off and fallen away.
I pulled 2 seats apart to fix it, ended up just switching the top half from another seat which was working onto the base.
are you positive the lumbar knob hasnt snapped off at the end?
You can pull the seat out if you are despearte and undo the metal staples holding the cloth over the seat, then have a look up there.
but hopefully someone will hav a better answer,.
you dont still need a parcel shelf do you? i have a grey/ one with 6x9 holes cut out

Re: lumbar support knob
if you were thats the completely wrong way to go about things, you want to slide both front seats fully forwards, then tilt them forwards, then remove the backrest from the rear seats and use it to bridge the rear footwells. voila, a fully functioning (cussioned) double bed..ChrisW wrote:'just wanted to see how far back it would go'brad360 wrote:I wanted to see how far the seat would recline and noticed the lumbar support knob hits the rear ashtray, so I unscrewed the knob all the way and took it out.
