rear bumper

Post by white-wolf »

Hi guys
Need a little help here.
Can anyone tell me how exactly u take the rear bunper of a 360 glt off?
I got my hends on a rear spoiler which must be attached to the bumper. But the trouble is getting the bumper out of it's place. I know there are some screws that must be taken off and then it slides out. I found 3 srews somewhere under the back end but they spinn like together with the srew nut which is not visible. I guess the screw nut must be welded on the other side, otherwise it should be visible in order to be held with a tool. So those might be the wrong srews.
I guess the black plastick stripe inserted in the middle of the bumper remains attached to the bumper all the time.

There are two brackets, holding the rear bumper in place. They're held on by 4 large bolts bolted into the box sections.

If you've got a towbar, its anybody's guess, and you'll just have to see how it works, cos some are bolted on using the bumper mounts, some are bolted to the boot floor and some have both or others.
