Right i havent posted in a new topic in a while so i thought i would let you know how the car is going!!! i bought a Pair of Reclining buckets from Ebay a while back and they were delivered from Belgium with material to re cover the rear seats to match. Very pleased with the seats and very pleased with how easy Volvo made it for me to change them!!!
I dont know how other people have fitted buckets to their cars but These seats have standard spaced mounts underneath and to fit into the car all i did was remove the runners from a standard pair of seats, knock out the peened threaded inserts, elongate two holes bolt to seats and bolt to car!!! Seats were in in 15 mins!!!
The rears have been recovered with covers my nan very kindly made for me!!! Look very tidy, need to steam the creases out that all.
I have also fitted a pair of harnesses to the car, although the pass harness has a double release on it so you can still access the back seats, this aloows me to have three people in the car including myself.
Anyways i have included some nice pics of the car after it had a good clean!!!

Nice
Are those 3 pt harnesses?
I put some in mine to go up to Scotland but mounted eyebolt to existing rear seat mount bolt but gives bad angle for the belt as they are too central and the belts are at an angle-no prob for scrutineer but I didn't feel they were v comfortable
Did you put in new mount holes?
Cheers for the comments guys. I dint want it to look to in your face so i stuck to black seats and belts.
Yeh they are 3 point harnesses, and i have used the existing rear mounts, the ones the lap belt mount to. Mine are very comfortable, is it possible that the eyelets in the seat could of been different heights?
Adam
Don't think so more case of rear eyelets being too central thus causing belts to run at angle-I'll check at some point-too cold tonight despite all this global warming but that's another story
