Intermittent Wiper setting/relay

Post by Con2K »

A continuation of the How To Guide really. I have a question, where on a VW etc are these located? Is it on the indicator stalk itself, behidn the dash, or in the enginebay?

I want to go down a scrap yard and pull one off but just wanted to be sure where in the car it would be located.

All my fords with Digital mileometer had a 2-30sec intermittent setting. The relay for this is on the stalk afaik but could be one of the random ones behind the glove box. if its got the same number of pins I'll give it a try but its probably different.

Thanks.

Seems to live in the fuse box. FFS had I known I would have got one lol, CBA when last at the scrappers though!
Rifle two and post me one up with me clip. :D

I've got 3 out of mk3 Golfs, fuse box is under the steering column, and the relay is hugely obvious with a big 99 on it.
