My 340 is from manchester (WNA on the end)which ties up with what it says on the back reg plate ;) lol
Unfortunately i lost the front plate somewhere whilst drifting on some gravel :D so its blank.

i have noticed a knocking sound from drivers side front wheel over bumpy roads but only very faint, havent really looked under there yet, its not long had an MOT so it can wait, i dont even know if it has wishbones or not, havent had the car long so not an expert on it yet :p hope it isnt the rack! ...

Could be thrust bearing getting stuck on the shaft in the gearbox but you say you changed the whole kit, i always grease up the shaft when i change a clutch on anything, that could help, but if not then it has to be the cable needs adjusting or is stretched! mine used to do it but the clutch was on ...

the servo pipe that goes to the manifold always gets sucked closed after a bit of running so i cut mine about to about 2inches long just to join the servo pipe to manifold, doesnt have room to close now not had a problem :-)
