Omex rev limiter

Post by filthyjohn » 06 Aug 2009 10:38 pm

Here we have an OMEX single coil clubman rev limiter. It's in brand new condition with all fixings and instructions. I haven't even peeled the double-sided tape meant for sticking it down.
Reason for sale is I didn't want to modify my 340's renix ignition module to fit it, and will be going EFI very soon anyway. It was fitted and tested once, and worked perfectly, despite rather makeshift connections to the renix. With this you can set the limit at 100rpm increments, from 1,000 to 20,000rpm(!) with your choice of hard or soft cut.

These are subject to price fixing and you can't buy a new one for less than £80 delivered. Since this is in perfect aesthetic condition, I'd like £60+P&P before it goes on the bay.

Cheers folks.

I mean the renix is an arse with odd connections. The limiter has to go on the + and - of the coil, but 340s don't have a conventional coil, so you have to take the renix apart to fit it. It could be done though.
