yea it is a s3. but it was built on a new chassis 5 years ago, so underneath is immaculate and yearly wax oyled.

Unless you changed every other component you were running a 24 yr S3,which admittedly had a new chassis due to tin worm eating the original.

its a 78 so its slightly older than that
id rather shave my scrotum with a rust nail that buy a cheap. they are boring, no soul, and too new for me. (and there for insurance etc etc)

at least i hadnt fixed the sump gasket so it p1ssed oil all over his hi vis boiler suit! :D

today ive looked at the 'problems' he highlighted. and there is nothing wrong with it. ive swung of the steering relay and it didnt move (the bit that he said you could shake with his hand)and i tightened up all the wheel nuts as well

mot at 10 tomorrow. hoping to get away with a partial retest therefore free! but not holding that much hope!

Ah,now I see what you mean-smething that works would be souless to a landy man-he prefers to be dripping in fluid and carrying his tool chest with him at all times,just in case like.

Diesels don't count,they're just for tight wad Yorkshiremen :lol:

Try a 4 ltr with all the toys-that auto box is mint for tea drinking in rush hour traffic :wink:

well it failed, miserably, nothing major, just lots of little jobs. the fail sheet was that long it went onto 2 pages.

ill be returning to the fold tomorrow if she passes! fingers crossed even more!

funny thing is, it didnt fail on what the vosa guy was saying.
