Spotted 1933? Bentley yesterday

Post by OapEM »

Just happened to catch a glimpse of one of these awesome machines as I was parked in a side road. It was the noise that made me look!

From what I can gather it was a 1933 4.5 litre Bentley.

It was in BRG, I do not know much else about it. It seems to resemble the one on track in my first pic though as I don't even think it had lights!
I'm curious to find out exactly what it was. I wouldn't like to guess how much it is worth!

I actually work on Vintage Bentleys when i go home in the summer for a good friend of mine. That is most probably a 4.5 litre, its possible though it is an 8 litre.
We are currently building a 1926 le mans Racer back to all its former glory, and the price for a good 1923 saloon 4.5 litre is £150k

You should have chased him and thrown up a shocker.
He might have waggled his cap at you.
Now there'd have been a story for the grand kids.
