Musak

Post by Speedy88 » 19 Nov 2009 11:37 pm

So what sort of music is everyone into? Music plays a big part in my life, I refuse to go anywhere if my car radio isn't working! This appears to be the only forum I know where I don't know what everyone is into.

For me it's bit of this and that. Bit of blues and classic rock. Also a bit of prog rock and 60s chart stuff. But I'm mainly into drum n bass and decent trance (such as Above & Beyond, Tiesto, PvD etc) and acid house. Also really like eclectic bands like Doves, Kasabian and Bloc Party. Oh, and a tiny bit of London Hip-hop.

Please, do tell.

big part of my life too, used to do be a part time dj in a local club
for me it's mostly proper dutch and italian hardstyle, names as the showtek, zany, technoboy, tatanka etc..
but though it's the most common music for me to lsiten hardstyle doesn't allways soot my mood, club, eclectic, house, drum n bass and from time to time i also like a few screaming eagles (beyonce, kelly rowland, jordin sparks, alicia keys, christina aguilera etc) but on the other side of hardstyle, i also like hardcore and sometimes even terror

yeah, some real variety

I think I was just sick in my mouth a little.

I heart mclusky, electric eel shock, the beatsteaks, the smiths, therapy?, the slits, sonic youth, the beastie boys, the pixies, classic rock, new wave, original electro (omd, Newman etc) hot chip, unlimited blues, funk, northern and trad soul, ska, roots, classic rock, but NOT JAZZ.

Jazz is for fags.

RATM, SOAD, bit classic rock, DJ Shadow/Turntabilism. Proper hip hop, Electro, D&B. I like loads except gheyhat pop crap and 99.9999999% of whining R&B lol.

+1 on the Tiesto too! ISOS series FTW.

It sure is noises. Awesome electronic ones! lol. Check out DJ Shadow, Entroducing dude. First album entirely made from samples. :)
Sounds like you'd prefer Planet Rock like FJ and co. man. I like a bit, but not all the 70's crap, and some of this sh!t they play is criminal, Bon Jovi and Guns n Roses etc! lol

Metallica FTW.

Came across shaddow on the unkle albums. Don't mind a bit of inteligent d&b. Ronni size et all.
But music that sweaty Ibiza children pull faces to in dark rooms is just a waste of drugs man.

You want to never put g&r in the same sentance as bon jovi again man.
Not unless you want ten pages of me ranting at you.

Bon jovi.
What on earth did the world do in a former life to deserve Bon jovi?

Axle Rose GTF. GnR aren't far behind for me man!

My D&B tastes are more towards the commercial/vocal shit TBH. The heavy junglist crap doesn't do it for me. One of my faves http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COUuu4UKplE

Also different genre win http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHXZdDIkwWI

IMO Shadows best album is Entroducing. I have them all but that one takes some topping. U N K L E unkle.
