That sounds like you've got the perfect car coming together ;-) Any chance of some videos?

Cheers

I'll be even happier when I'm more comfortable with the map tbh.

Today was a nadgers scary, after seeing one of the TVR's from the meet in the crash barrier, she spun the wheels up as I moved from one lane to another on the dual carriageway. I dread to think what the TVR's must be like

Tom, I'll try and sort something out.

GLT economy with mo' power. Multivalve heads for the win.

I'm going to make my feel better by pointing out that the V70R does 25-30mpg (25 when hoofing it a bit more than usual, 27-28 with mixed driving, and 30-32 on the motorway)...

...but it's nowhere near as awesome.

cheers

Video's still slow coming, I've not been anywhere track shaped for the last couple of months to get a decent run in.

The snow has forced open the inner wing at the base of the a pillar (non structural, but I've got ages till the MOT to tidy it up, plus I didn't get home to the island this year so havn't done any bodywork on Kar so missing it a bit!)

I fitted my narrowband display just before xmas, and did a huge amount of snow driving (for a southerner at least!) about 5-600 miles of it.

I've been tidying the car up a bit the last 2 days. Sorted out the last bit of wiring I hadn't stripped back from the old owner, which was the tailgate. I managed to uncover 5 choc blocks in the wires at the hinge, these have all been stripped and replaced with OEM crimps which have to be my favourite thing ever currently, hugely recommended. So, for the first time in 4 years of running Fake the heated rear screen works and the rear wiper has auto park. I was used to just turning it off at the right time   Surprisingly all the strips of the heated screen work.

Locks are awesome since being cleaned and oiled, and havn't frozen up once. Other work has been the new heater box which is currently a mk2/3 hybrid box with ali bits added here and there, I think I'm going to have to loose the ricer cone filter thought I've really fallen for the noise  anyone who has been in or near Fake at flat chat has agreed it sounds amazing and I don't really want to loose that. Still, there is a plan.

Chrischip has been slower than wanted, I've got the design finished but am still learning lots about Renault ECU's. There doesn't seem to be anything like V3M where you ask a sensible question and get an answer in RenaultWorld. Every forum I've found seems to think performance tuning requires a powerflow exhaust and some vinyl graphics  Still, 5 ECU's have been stripped, and the EPROM's looked at. Add to that the few available on t'internet I've got my head round a small bit of it and worked out why a couple I have don't do much and why one idles at 4k

I'd have thought you'd be in the 'pouring scorn on narrowband gauges' camp, rather than fitting one... :P

Can't quite picture where you mean re: rust.
