not looked at manual but I know 5th is bolted on "outside" the box, can the cogs be swapped giving lower revs in top gear?
I know it can cruise at 50 with less accelerator so what options have I got for cog sizes, I want 5th to be more like a 6th, double the drop in ratio, get 21+MPH per 1000RPM or so, its about 14MPH or something as standard. feels like that.
Rather not change the final drive since 1,2,3,4 are all useable gears, just wish fifth had a few more teeth, I would get a few more miles.
Also anyone have the unaltered maximum/minimum recommended shift speeds, the manual doesn't give a recommended shift from 4th to 5th, almost definitely because that shift is at about 80/90MPH, and in the UK that's illegal unless you are rich and paranoid- - but I'd still like to know what speed the designers thought appropriate, before the editors (E.U. or some equal annoyer) got their hands on the manual.

Depends on the engine tbh (well, may be the final drive I guess)
When I've been on track with mine Kar (B14 with 3.8whatever) would happily accelerate past 90 in 5th all the way through if you gave her long enough. Fake on the other hand (B172k with 3.64) wanted to be in 4th even past 100 to keep accelerating.
I havn't taken the new engine anywhere where I can test to see what it does now with the F7R, will hopefully have it on a track soon though.

Gearsets are available to box, but price around 1000 pounds, I think.
French crap has 5th which is like putting to 4.2th, but my 360 has 5th like 5.3th, because of long diff ratio 3.36:1 makes 5th to be very low rpm compared to speed it is doing, completely impossible to drive 5th on city, 3rd gear mostly, 4th sometimes, but 5th only when doing nearly 60Mph, before that it really can't climb hills without speed dropping.
