All i know is what i saw and it may not be of interest as it's not a 300, but still a cool old Volvo. Basically in the Chevrolet garage on St Denys Road there is a T reg (79) 244 Estate in red. The general appearance of it is pretty good at 1st glance, i.e it didn't look like it was rusting away. However it looked like it had been attacked by someone throwing brake fluid/paint stripper over the roof and down accross the bonnet.
I've no idea what it's doing there, but it was parked in the front row of new cars so it wasn't like they were trying to keep it out of sight
So there you go, you now know what i do and can do with this info as you please, it did look pretty menacing and i can't remember seeing many of the early fronted estates about anymore.
Oh and on arriving at work i saw a battered to hell 244 saloon being driven by an old giffer
