There was more info about the cardan axle setup at the previous page.
Clutch housing is from a Penta marine engine and axle between the engine and gearbox is a conventional steel axle with custom made splines. Though I don't see any universal joints or bushings so that's the only question mark for me, because without any universal joints or bushings the centering and balancing of the free floating axle should be veeery precise. Well we'll see how it works out.
Of course it could be that that's just a non completed stage and there are going to be more support bearings or something similiar.
