1.4 340 Radiator Size

I need a new radiator for my sisters 340 and found 2 different ones. The one that is fitted is the thicker core 32mm type but just wondered if it would be ok to fit the 17mm type. Older 340's did run a thin type so would it be ok to use the thin type core as is a lot cheaper for her?

the thinner one was used on 1.7 340's

you can fit it with no problems etc; it will make the engine temp slightly higher but not harmfull (all by all in size it is allmost the same as the <MY86 radiators) .
