hi do any of you guys and gals know wether you can buy a limited slip diff for a 340 1400.

noting as far as im aware. if so ive never seen one! weld that diff! :mrgreen:

there were a few made, but very rarely seen and are probably better refered to as a legend.

Ive never seen one, and ive only heard of one person finding one!

Ben,i'd swap my spare for a Husky 372.XP obviously :lol:

Read an old thead by Foggy, he says you can get them made by Quaife or 'a secret contact' for about £500-£600. maybe be on another site, google it!

There was talk of Dana 30 being suitable.

It's found in front axle of Classic shape Cherokees,ie pre 2001.

Might be worth looking into.
If it can be made to fit lockers are available and ring and pinions a plenty.

It'll involve quite a bit of work,I'd imagine.

Think they were 600 each minimum order 10 iirc :?

Chances of finding 6k on here-minimal I'd have to say.

Tis indeed,Ben,got mesel a new 357XPG last yr.

Powerful midrange saw-did you upgrade your ppe,if you check chain speed it takes it to24/26ms all my protection is 20ms.

IIRC most PPE wont cope with a chain fling anyway, i think they rely on you not aiming to cut your leg off and youll let off the loud button when you get near your leg!

i think im at 24 m/s full speed is at 60 m/s :shock: :mrgreen:
