an ex 340 owner

Post by disco!!!! » 28 Mar 2011 07:10 am

hey guys
its been a while since i have been on here, more of a lurker as well
anyways its been about 3 years since i got rid of my 340, sold it cheap but it ended up going to the scrap :( however since then ive been hankering for another one.
here she is
Image

since selling it i have a had a few cars since well 3 to be exact. the car got sold so i could satisfy a vw urge in the form of a corrado, it was a fantastic car but i spent more time under the bonnet than driving it
the rad

a VW polo, in my defence i drove it once then sold it

after that was a BMW 318iS which i still have and is sitting in my garage getting way too much work carried out (2.8 engine, M3 brakes, M3 suspension, M3 LSD etc etc)
before it came off the road

and about 2 months ago just before the 2.8 went in

and a citroen saxophone diseasel which is the daily driver whilst the BMW is off the road, im not going to offend your eyes with a pic of it

anyway whilst i have owned all of these cars i still hankered after another 340. How is it a car that most would throw to the scrap rather than drive it has managed to get under my skin so rediculously
anyways i have made the decision that once the BMW is back on the road (it will be relegated to weekend duties) im going to scrap the saxo and buy another 340 and use it as a daily
im not sure about modifying it but i probably will
anyways i just thought i would re-introduce myself as a possible future owner and active member
peace out

PS im a bit of a picture whore but ill try to keep it 340 related :D

Cool pics dude.
Many and varied are always welcome. 8)

Good luck hunting another 340 man, theyre getting rarer now, and judging by PooBay - the prices are on the up.

I'll be honest, theres a lot of those going around. I can only assume that the sceners come over from dubs/jap and assume that everything is worth the same money. They generally don't sell for 2k.
